Plastic waste from the Mediterranean Sea
The amount of rubbish floating in the oceans reaches tragic extremes. These past years, the Swiss artist with links to Cala Millor Monika Rutschi collected a lot of small pieces of plastic on the beach.
One day she thought she wanted to raise people's awareness to do something about it and that's how she created the first image, the FISH.

The collective exhibition “Sculptures in movement”, curated by Miquel Segura, can be visited in the Exhibition Hall of the Sa Màniga Auditorium in Cala Millor. The exhibition has previously toured the Can Garau Art Center in Sencelles and the Casal de Cultura Can Gelabert in Binissalem.

Ferran Pizà (sa Pobla, 1955) has more than thirty-five years’ experience as a plastic artist and is one of the exponents of Povera art in Majorca.
He was only sixteen years old when he travelled to Paris, where he decided to study painting.

You can now see the Photography Exhibition "Beginnings of Tourism", which has been produced by the Sant Llorenç City Council.
