Balearic Orchestral Encounters

The Orchestral Encounters of the Balearic Islands emerged in 2018 to provide young musicians aged between 15 and 25 years old the possibility of training in an orchestra. Although a symphonic repertoire is usually tackled with more than 60 musicians on stage to give maximum opportunity to all possible young people, this time, due to the health crisis, the proposed repertoire is a classical format orchestra of about 30 musicians.

The pieces to be interpreted are:

Haydn. Symphony No. 86 in D major (25'-30')

Mozart. Symphony No. 39 in E flat major (25'-30')

This year's faculty is for string Barry Sargent; for wind Josep Tatay; and assistant conductor Bernat Quetglas.

 

Free tickets are distributed at the box office on the day of the concert, from 4pm. No Telephone bookings.
