MARE: Marine Photography of the Balearic Islands

MARE is an initiative that aims to support marine conservation through creativity and the promotion of visual arts with an ethical perspective. The project, organized by the Marilles Foundation, presents in this exhibition hall the winning photographs from the 2025 MARE Competition and the video installation "A Sea of Gazes."
The sixth edition of the MARE Competition will follow the classic format, with digital underwater photography as the main discipline. Because photography is an ideal language for showcasing the hidden beauty of the sea, with all its colours and light.
Free guided tours are available for groups of 5 or more. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. To join, please call 971 587373 or email Nerea Francisco (nfrancisco@santllorenc.cat). Tours are available in Catalan or Spanish, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, and on Thursday and Saturday evenings, at a time to be arranged.
