The LaMov ballet company takes on everything—from Cinderella to Swan Lake. With Don Juan, they give it a modern twist, exploring everything from love and its paradoxes, heaven, hell, and purgatory, the seducer and his beloved, this Agnes who ultimately finds her own identity and unleashes her sensuality. The work contains poetry, sword duels, a spectral stroll, the exaltation of the flesh; it possesses regions where dreams become light and darkness, an unfathomable abyss and a paradise open to purity... This Don Juan is a moving score of passion and pain, of mystery and beauty, a song to desire and life beyond death.
