NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE BALEARIC ISLANDS

The Balearic Islands Nature Photography Association (AFONIB) organizes the oldest and most prestigious nature photography competition in the Balearic Islands, the "Climent Picornell Memorial." The exhibition at the Sa Mániga Auditorium showcases 24 selected photographs.

 

With this competition, AFONIB aims to contribute to raising awareness of the Balearic Islands' natural heritage as a first step towards recognizing the need to preserve it. Therefore, the photographs go beyond documentary photography, revealing the photographer's personal vision and the inherent art of nature itself.

 

Free guided tours are offered for groups of 5 or more. Running time: approximately 45 minutes. To join, please call 971 587373 or email Nerea Francisco (nfrancisco@santllorenc.cat). Tours are available in Catalan or Spanish, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, and on Thursday and Saturday afternoons, at a time to be arranged.
