The University of the Balearic Islands Orchestra was founded in the 2017-2018 academic year and currently comprises more than 60 musicians. The orchestra's musical quality has steadily improved year after year, enabling it to tackle a more demanding repertoire, thanks to the commitment and dedication of each musician. The University of the Balearic Islands Orchestra is conducted by Xisco Amengual, who trained in Orchestral and Choral Conducting at the Catalonia College of Music. The Orchestra will perform a selection of film soundtracks that will take us on a sonic journey through the fantastic world of film music.
