GREAT CONCERT
Orchestra of the Academy 1830
Director: Fernando Marina
Solo piano: Kiev Portella
Duration: 1 h 10 min approx.
Admission: 10 €
The Orchestra of the Academy 1830, conducted by Fernando Marina, will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings. The Piano Concerto No. 3 was composed by Ludwig van Beethoven in 1800 and premiered in Vienna with the composer as soloist. The Serenade for Strings was originally conceived by Tchaikovsky for a string quintet. However, the composer later decided to expand the original project (a large string orchestra). In fact, when listening to the Serenade, we have the feeling of a work performed by a full orchestra.
