This Wednesday, April 19, the City Council of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Facsa analyze the reuse of water in the Balearic Islands in the technical seminar "Present and future of reclaimed water. What is the response of the Balearic Islands?”, which takes place in the Sa Màniga Auditorium in Cala Millor.

Given the current scenario of climate change, in which episodes of water stress are becoming more frequent and prolonged, and the increase in demographic pressure in some areas makes it difficult to provide a continuous supply of quality and quantity water, it is becoming increasingly important the use of any available water resources. In these circumstances, the use of reclaimed water in applications such as agriculture, garden irrigation, golf courses and various industrial uses is of the utmost interest. It should be remembered that, although its use is still incipient, some autonomous communities and municipalities have been working for some time to promote the safe use of reclaimed water.
