On May 9-11, Pere Santandreu, director of the Sa Mániga Auditorium in Cala Millor and currently president of the Association of Public Theatres and Auditoriums of the Balearic Islands (ATAPIB), participated in the Camus Meetings at the invitation of the Sant Lluís City Council (Menorca).
The Camus Meetings are a meeting of contemporary critical thought, guided by the thought of Albert Camus (1913-1960), a French writer, journalist, and philosopher with family roots in Menorca, and winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature.
This edition, promoted by former Foreign Minister Miguel Ángel Moratinos and directed by Sandra Maunac, featured 25 Spanish and international guests (Argentina, France, Switzerland, Egypt, Palestine, Austria, the United Kingdom, Lebanon, and Nigeria), one award winner, an inaugural lecture, seven conversations and dialogues, three performances, photography screenings, and fifteen international artists.
